VISVESHWAR WANTS TO BE A PROFESSIONAL FLAUTIST.

It was in Apr 2006, when Visveshwar,  just 9 ½ years old then, was presented with an unexpected opportunity to play in a Temple.

Lord Navaneetha Krishna destined that initiation of Visveshwar in the music world was to be in the Swati Utsavam of the Lord at the Lakshmi Narasimhar Temple in Nanganallur. Visveshwar’s first public performance happened at the lotus feet of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha in Oonjal Seva.  Yes, it was an auspicious beginning for Visveshwar and his team.  Not many children are blessed to get such an auspicious beginning at the tender age.

Visveshwar was accompanied by his elder brother Ram on violin and Ram’s classmate Santosh Kumar on Mridangam. The team performed together till June 2007 when Ram and Santosh preferred to focus on studies.

JOINING ISSAI MAZHALAI GROUP OF SHRI ABASWARAM RAMJHI

At this juncture, destiny guided Visveshwar, through their family friend Smt Sesha Kalyanaraman of Nanganallur, into the safe hands of Shri Abaswaram Ramjhi.  This paved the way for Visveshwar to join a large pool of highly talented young artists.  Shri Abaswaram Ramjhi’s “Issai Mazhalai” (Music Infants) is the first professional music group, comprising of only school children, in the whole of the country. Through his tireless and selfless efforts, Shri Ramjhi secures opportunities to the children in Issai Mazhalai team.  Thanks to Shri Ramjhi, Visveshwar has played in some of the Sabhas in the city and Shankukhananda Sabha, Bombay at this tender age with the accompaniment of similarly talented children on violin, mridangam and ghatam.  By end middle of February 2011 Visveshwar has performed on more than 325 stages.
